We were approached by Lado Oil, an established energy company headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. With more than two decades of experience, Lado Oil procures and distributes petroleum products through a network of over 30 service stations, alongside producing its own Lado-branded lubricants for industrial customers across the country. They came to us with an urgent problem: a previous developer had locked them out of their own website, leaving a well-known regional brand without control of its main online presence. Our first priority was to help them regain access to their domain. From there, we rebuilt the website using the existing design as our reference, restoring a site the business could fully own and manage. Our task was to rescue it.

In just 6 weeks, we rebuilt the site from the ground up in Webflow, giving the team a platform they owned outright and could manage with confidence. Lado Oil was happy with their original design, so rather than reinventing it, we focused on faithfully recreating it. We collected the existing assets, rebuilt every page in Figma to create a complete and accurate blueprint, and then developed the site in Webflow. With a clear brief and a design already approved, stakeholder input was kept light, which allowed us to move quickly and keep the project on track.Throughout, we kept Lado Oil's established brand identity intact. This wasn't a redesign. It was about restoring control of a trusted brand's online presence and giving it a stable, well-built foundation for the future.
The live site became our only reference. We worked through it page by page, capturing the layouts, imagery, copy and brand elements, and recreating each one in Figma to form a complete and accurate blueprint. From there, we started a fresh Webflow build, free from the restrictions of the old setup. This took a strong technical understanding of Webflow, so we could rebuild the structure, interactions and CMS to match the original while making sure the new site was cleaner and more reliable underneath. The result was a faithful recreation that looked as the team intended, but was now fully in Lado Oil's hands.
Before any rebuilding could begin, Lado Oil needed control of their online presence back. We worked with the team to recover access to their domain, making sure ownership sat firmly with the business rather than with any third party. With that secured, we had a clear foundation to build on and the confidence that the new site would belong to Lado Oil from day one.
With access restored, we turned to the foundations. We sourced the logo, imagery, product details and copy directly from the live site, then organised them into a structured set of brand assets the team could use going forward. These were brought together in Figma, where we recreated each page in full, so that every element of Lado Oil's established identity was accounted for before development began.
With the designs and assets ready, we developed the new site in Webflow, rebuilding the pages, news and product sections to match the original experience across desktop, tablet and mobile. Once the site was live, we handed over full ownership to Lado Oil, giving them complete access to their website and domain for the first time. The result is a stable, well-built website that the team controls entirely, with the freedom to update and grow it as the business evolves.

Working on this project was a genuinely rewarding experience. Lado Oil came to us at a stressful moment, and being able to give them back something they thought they had lost made the work especially meaningful. It also reinforced a principle we now build into every project: clients should always have full ownership and access to their digital assets from day one. We're proud of what we delivered, and the experience has made us a better partner for any business that finds itself in a similar position.
